My Hobbies

Ok, now I know this sounds goofy, but even an artist has a hobby, mine happens to be something which has bridged the gap between my Dad and me for my entire life; slotcars. No not those little Matchbox sized toys, we're talking 1/32 scale, highly realistic and fast. My Dad has a vintage track in his basement which I have spent years landscaping, creating buildings and vehicles to compliment it, and most recently, I've started scratch-building my own cars. Structures: wood, wire, acrylic and latex paint Rocks: foam, acrylic caulk and latex paint Trees: twigs and dried moss Custom slotcars: hand carved bass wood bodies and chassis, Parma running gear, enamel paint, boxes hand painted with arcylic and enamel paint Special order only! $750 each   Tribute to Chris Wininger, a good friend and fellow racer, we'll miss you!
